Chocolate Festival 2019

Every year, the aroma of chocolate drifts through the streets of Wernigerode's old town. From the end of October to the beginning of November, chocolArt moves the market square in front of the historic town hall and shopping street into a world of sweet temptations. Top chocolatiers from various countries present their finest products, offer chocolate sweets and invite to hot chocolate, cocoa painting and sharing all sorts of information about the sweet temptations. In a variety of chocolate, there is something for every lover, whether whole milk or dark chocolate.

Numerous restaurants and cafés offer special chocolate menus during the chocolART, and in daily city tours, around the town hall and via the chocoMARKT, a lot of interesting facts about the history of Wernigeröder chocolate are also offered. The tour ends with a hot chocolate after the tour.
